The Experience
Thank you for considering Tracey Dawkins Photography. I would like to tell you a little about what
to expect when you book a photo session with TDP. First of all, this is not your ordinary photo session. It is an experience. The focus is all on you! I want you to look back on this experience with fond memories full of fun and laughter.
Scheduling:
When we book your session, we will discuss your Senior or your Family’s style and personality. This will help determine location. If you have a specific location in mind, that is wonderful! If not, I have several locations that I can recommend. We want the perfect location that showcases your family the best.
Before the Session:
Once we have scheduled the session, you will have access to my Client Guide which has information on what to wear and how to prepare. If this is a Senior session, I like to meet in person so your Senior can get to know me, and I get to know your Senior. This connection helps so much when we decide on location, outfits and also makes our session fun. If it is a family session, I will be with you every step of the way. You can even send me pictures of outfits if you need help with coordinating what to wear.
During the Session:
Now it is time to relax, have fun and enjoy the experience. I hear from my clients all the time how much fun they have had at their sessions. I want the same for you. I shoot mostly natural light, but I do throw in some off the camera flash now and then. This is an experience we share. I am as excited about it as you are! I will share with you some of the pictures along the way, and I am always open and excited to hear any ideas that you may have.
After the Session:
I spend about two weeks choosing and editing your images. I will post a sneak peek for you to see on social media. I know how hard it is to wait for Reveal Night.
Reveal Night Ordering Session:
This is the time when I get to spoil you, just a little bit. This will be the first time you get to see your pictures so it is time to celebrate! On Reveal Night, we will get together and view a slide show of your images. You will also have special collections and pricing available that night; this is a great time to order your prints at special prices (not one of my clients has passed this up yet,) I am also there to help you choose your prints and products and even help with measuring and placement if you need help with that.
I love what I do! I love sharing my passion with Seniors and Families; I don’t think of this as my job but as my art. Capturing your special memories and seeing these memories displayed as art in your home brings me joy and gives you a family heirloom to pass down from generation to generation.
